The Student Body of East Carolina University represented by Student Government Association is sponsoring an Anti-Violence March with a vigil service afterwards at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday . The march is in response to the recent wave of violent crimes in the greenville area, with a special focus on the recent shootings of Landon Blackley and Andrew "Drew" Kirby downtown. Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate in the march. For those who can't march there will be special accomodations. For those who want to attend only the vigil that will be at 7:30 p.m. The march will start at the Other Place ("OP") which is downtown on 5th street, and will end at the Cupola in the Center of the University. There will be a brief memorial and a candle-light vigil. There will be several speakers including the Student Body President Brad Congleton.
