The Newman Center Music Ministry provides music for Sunday evening and Wednesday Mass. The Music Ministry is led by singers Jessica Pendergrass and Jackie Josten. The music group is a contemporary ensemble, made up of vocals, piano, guitar, flute, and drums. Music for Mass is chosen with regard to the readings, the Gospel, the homily, the Liturgical season, and occasionally significant events or celebrations.

We strive to incorporate both traditional and contemporary worship music in the Masses. As the music during Mass is an important and prayerful part of the Liturgy, we welcome and encourage all members of the congregation to join us in song.
